And now, in 2006, he is our Club Champion.
A meteoric rise to fame not rivaled by any member in recent times. He is without doubt the Club's finest ever climber. He pushed last years Champ ("Hoots" Macdonald) into 3rd place and confined "Ginger" Holberry to 2nd place for 2 years running. The margin of victory was only one point! Had "Ginger" not "Done A "Holberry" and dropped a point on the Leeds Inner City Bash, he would have taken the title by virtue of a better mileage record. "Ginger's" loss was "The Hulk's" gain.
"Ginger" however apportions blame for this narrow loss to his "Glass Spine" arising from a Road Accident.
